she is only a couple stanzas long
and was born the end of July and in the beginning of August.
Thank goodness she came because as anyone who is
pregnant (or have writers block) can tell you, a brain-child is a heavy burden!

B is for BirdWhen she opened her mouth, birds came out. She used to laugh and tell people, "I have a tree on my tongue." Confused, they would turn away, and she would send crows after them, to peck at their backs. Once her mother said, "Keep your birds caged!" So she would only let sparrows and robins fly around her mother. Once her brother said, "Youre a stupid girl." So she sent vultures to pick at his decaying heart. Once her father said, "You should be a writer." So she freed her nightingales and voice. Then she met him. She had a bird for his every mood. A morniB is for Bird
